About the Writer
I grew up in a family rich with culture and flare, spending my childhood listening to stories of war, comedy, and lost love. These stories sat inside of me, fueling my need to explore, to feel. But the fear of impracticality kicked in, and I decided to study Criminology, going on to do a master’s degree in Investigative and Legal Psychology in a foreign country. While studying, I was drawn to the stories of the people, rather than investigating the crimes. These thoughts pushed me to tell my own story and create TheLonelySerb. I've been writing for the past seven years. Since then, I’ve worked as a freelancer living in Canada, Europe, and now in the Middle East. Yes, I know. But, how else can I get inspiration without pulling a Bukowski?
